Japp, I see now that you are right. I see that it in .git/config saves:
wmstate = normal
geometry = 1280x974+1280+0 207 188
and thus probably not that the window is maximized.
Is this a patch for this issue maybe?:

Are you sure the rt2860sta driver can definitely service the RT3090 chipset
under Linux 3.x?
I have built and installed the latest Ralink rt2860sta driver. However I
decided not to follow those instructions that were linked to in the
other bug report since they were originally written for
I run 11.10 64bit with gnome-session-fallback gui.
I didnt have sbi-qt installed but I installed it and
it has no effect. Still no skype icon.
Have you tried yourself?

That they are, I have run up a USB image of 10.04 LTS and it cant install to
the harddrive.
However, it is not the complaining about the DMA in dmesg but it does stay on
UDMA/133 which is an old bug and out of spec for ICH7, fixed in ata_piix since
then.
I have attached dmesg from 10.04 f
file names mean nothing. without access to the file in question (after
only three days of reporting this issue) there is nothing that can be
done about this. As Pádraig said fslint has several mechanisms to
determine a file is indeed a dupe and all of them have to match.
