I have the same issue after trying to disable grid via compiz settings
manager. It isn't system-wide corruption as login using another user
a/c is ok. Login using the problematic user a/c is also ok with Ubuntu
2D. Appears that it can be solved by removing the following 2 lines
from the file ~/.

This is not a problem of Liferea itself, it works fine with Gnome
fallback (metacity I guess) and Gnome-shell (mutter). Hence a problem in
compiz.

Agreed, it's very convenient to be able to split the screen in, saiy,
one third for one window and two thirds for another, or 1/4 and 3/4,
etc.

I can consistently reproduce this bug as follows:
1. Open a terminal window.
2. Maximize it.
3. Minimize it.
4. Switch to workspace 2 (ctrl-alt-right)
5. Middle click terminal launcher to open a new window.
6. Left click terminal launcher to show spread.
The window from workspace 1 now shows the
Status changed to 'Confirmed' because the bug affects multiple users.

The Debian/Ubuntu libsc-dev packages certainly have bugs which make it
impossible to build ghemical. Ubuntu 11.10 is suffering from Debian Bug
#642668 (fixed in mpqc_2.3.1-9), and the current LP bug #885740, to be
fixed in mpqc_2.3.1-10 in Debian shortly.
After a bug fix for this has been uploaded
dragging and dropping doesn't work when dragging a file to the browser
and it isn't visible it's impossible to go to the window because unity
doesn't enable it for drop
