bringing up lvm devices. The more lvm devices, the longer it takes. Some

Attached is a kernel patch which (I hope) will solve the whole matter
once and for all. The patch was written for a 3.1 kernel, but it should
apply with only minimal changes to other recent kernels. It will affect

First work around worked. I also had a problem with changes not being
there after a reboot so I used the analyser's ability to generate a
script (after using the interface to set 0x19 widget control vref to
HIZ) and then made the script run on start up (I saved the script in

that's the kernel I use for my work and it there is no problem with
using external monitor as an only monitor.

I can confirm this major usability problem that requires restarting
piding in order to bring up the contact roaster.
I've also marged bug #879950 as duplicate because it describes
essentially the same symptoms.

I have been an avid advocate of calibre among foss circles. Given how
things turned up, I would like to apologize to all people that had
(possibly) their computers compromised and -in specific- to my friend
Zet.

A temporary workaround could be to hibernate instead, as I have noticed that it
