Doing "sudo invoke-rc.d restart boinc-client" results in:

After rebooting oneiric boinc runs normally.

The fix was only temporary. It only lasted about half a day. I tried
logging out and in. The hanging was back. Like menus that wont close
properly on the top panel or the launcher wont scroll or hide properly..

I can confirm that this bug is still in natty and that the
GetAbsoluteGeometry() fix works. I have yet to upgrade to oneiric on my
dual-screen system, but I sure hope it's fixed there.

Same here, no notification icon for update-notifier on xubuntu oneiric.
Happens on both fresh installs and updates from natty, where this worked
fine. Highly annoying, makes it easy to miss updates.

I'm cautiously optimistic the quicklist problem is sorted - at least for
me, with latest downloads. At login all seems to work fine. The other
problem I mentioned however, has not. Meta+s and click quicklist still
freezes quicklist menu on the screen but Jan's option of clicking
another to unfreeze

"Unhandled Lockdown error (-15)".
I clicked "OK" to close the error.
