resolved. So found the solution myself is to open a file in geany on
CLI. This is a temporary fix.

So you can now open a new file using CTRL+O without crashing geany. :)

I would recommend Mark to get a laptop with Ubuntu installed, and start
walking through the street of some capital of the world (like London, New
