'crashing'

Since I upgraded from 11.04 to 11.10 the system doesn't turn off at the
end of halt procedure if it's called via commandline (local or remote
shell) . At some point of halt procedure the system freezes and all I
can do is turning off pc via physical power button and halting it
I'm not sure if something was done about this issue but from time to
time I get my E220 working (M1330, Ubuntu 11.10 32bit), however usually
I have to create a new connection to be able to do that. I didn't have

After some situations tilda window stops drawing on my screen.
If I press buttons to show tilda screen when system shows some notifications,
my input redirects to tilda, but no screen appeared.
Bug appeared after an upgrade to 11.10. I use Unity desktop. Tilda version:
0.09.
