That stack trace comes from using Banshee built for Natty on 11.10. Please use
one targeted for Oneiric instead. You may get it from the Ubuntu repositories of
the stable PPA. I haven't gotten an Oneiric deb up to the daily PPA yet, but the
next commit that Banshee upstream gets should cause an One
Oneiric has no rt2860/rt2870 drivers (see
http://kernel.ubuntu.com/git?p=ubuntu/ubuntu-oneiric.git;a=commit;h=fefecc6989b4b24276797270c0e229c07be02ad3
for details).
So don't blacklist the rt2x00 drivers, falling back to the legacy drivers
obviously no longer works.

Hi
I read that matlab-support is only for matlab installations as the name
suggests.
But is is there without any matlab version installed ever before.
I dont know which dependency it was, that installed it automatically.
If you upgrade Ubuntu, matlab-support asks always (in an infinite loop)
I think the fact that it affects those who have to use Unity-2D and want
autologin means this is an important bug. Many ordinary users will fall
over it.

After doing apt-get -f install + apt-get install apt to get the latest oneiric
one, do-release-upgrade does continue and does not fail with an Internal Error.
urgency=low for this critical fix does not seems right to me if
I think it's most likely a focus-prevention issue in Compiz. Try
lowering it using CompizConfig Settings Manager, under General Options →
Focus & Raise Behaviour → Focus Prevention Level.
I'm not sure exactly what each level means, but on the higher levels,
windows that attempt to raise themselves

I have found so many problems with this update that I am giving up on

I have tried with some other monitor. I was able to attach it and set
separate resolution for the external monitor(not mirroring) . I had both

I have a fresh installation of 11.10 64 bit. I can confirm that rpcbind

After today update, I think it's working now. I've been able to transfer
course from a forerunner 205 to connect.garmin.com
