There is already an option to set the primary monitor in 'Displays' panel in
System Settings. End a few weeks ago, the launcher was displayed on the primary
monitor, but right now it's shown in the left monitor.
Just restore the old behavior.

This is fixed for me on update to natty. No proof, but I *think* that
this has to do with the winbind rid backend. When I deleted the tbd
files related to winbind, the problem got noticeably better. I upgraded
to natty and not the problem is gone, and therefore have not tested any

There seems to have been some progress by the upstream developers. This bug
filed against Core/Networking indicates that the fix has been released:

To run paprefs without gray-out, I have to do the trick `sudo ln -s
/usr/lib/pulse-1.0 /usr/lib/pulse-1.0.0`.

pkill -f hp-systray
LIBOVERLAY_SCROLLBAR=0 hp-systray
Does hp-systray stay stable now?
Does your desktop stay stable when you are running vlc?

I finished the install by changing from RAID to JBOD in the motherboard
on-board configuration.
It's a M3A770DE Asrock motherboard.
If I happen to reinstall again, I can try to post more detailed information;
just wondering of I'm really the only one experiencing this problem, or if no
one else
