Both times you've attached your logs it shows your using the proprietary
nvidia driver, not nouveau. I'm not sure, but I suspect that you can
only use the control panel with the proprietary driver as well.

Gnome-control-center is no longer installed by Xubuntu. This also has
blocked installing bluetooth, however, users can install blueman which
allows use of bluetooth devices. Since the crash no longer occurs
because there is no bluetooth to click on, I am closing the bug report.

1) Has suspend/resume worked reliably in the past on this system? If
so, what was the most recent kernel where suspend/resume was reliable?
It really is helpful to narrow down the window where the regression may
have been introduced.

Ok, it seemed a bit harder to trigger a crash this time. I did not see
the crash in geis_dispatch_event. However the other crash in
visible_range_changed_cb() is still there. There's also a crash which I
haven't seen before in gdk_window_has_impl().

To reproduce the gdk_window_has_impl crash I do "gdb eog" in one window,
and "for x in {1..10}; do eog *; sleep 1; done" in another. While the
windows are opening click next/previous in the opened windows.
