According to comment on 2011-01-24 the bug fix was released. I am

Ok, so the package there has a .override to define the key but that
doesn't work since gsettings requires a schemas defining the key. It's
easy to check, out of the .xsession-errors warning saying that ubuntuone
is ignored a grep ubuntuone /proc/$(pidof gnome-settings-daemon)/maps
shows it's not lo
The attachment "debdiff with a propoesed fix" of this bug report has
been identified as being a patch in the form of a debdiff. The ubuntu-
sponsors team has been subscribed to the bug report so that they can
review and hopefully sponsor the debdiff. In the event that this is in
fact not a patch
Hi, is this still an issue with latest Oneiric? There have been some
changes to a few places which could have caused this bug, and I believe

I did another test on Ubuntu 11.04 (which I booted from an Ubuntu
installation CD). I loaded the usbkbd module, unplugged the scanner and
plugged it in again. No change whatsoever - still got "140" in stead of
"14014". The exact same scanner works in a Windows XP POS system, but on
3 different comp
