Why do we need to do this? Blacklisting would mean that apt packages
will ship all *.po files right in the .deb, as opposed to "through
langpacks". This will stop us being able to deliver updated

The range selector tools for size and decade in the file and music
lenses are difficult and confusing to use.
e.g:
Click on 80s: it is selected.
Click on 90s: both are selected.
Click on 80s again: both are deselected???
Click on Old: Old, 60s, and 70s are selected??

annoying. I found the b.k.o bug, which you linked, too, but as this
should be solved since 4.3.5, I'm not quite sure if this is the same
cause.

There's an issue here at the driver level, NM can't read the MAC address for
the device which is why it can't start it for wifi:
