I have/use:
openbox
cairo-dock ! Its not decent without compositing. Unhappy with Awant performance.
Problem:
Metacity, compiz crash with openbox. That left me the option of xcompmgr what
actually does well, except this small bug.
How I run xcompmgr:
xcompmgr -cF -t-9 -l-1
Looks like this specific issue has been fixed for Ubuntu in Rosetta.
The upstream translation fixes will take care of any remaining issues
when the inkscape_0.49-* package version is released in Ubuntu.

valid, but your revised version almost certainly isn't. What use would
it be to have an option for whether some windows should be minimizable?
What reason would any two people ever have for choosing different values
for that setting

stopped to work. Unity 3D doesnt works. In additional driver i activated
experimental 3d support for nvidia but nothing, then i reinstalled
nvidia current, after reboot activated it again. But 3D doesnt works
