I support this request, I have a wireless keyboard and sometimes when
its batery dies I still need to use the keyboard.
Obviously I can Not launch it from a terminal, that would be really
silly, and not having it on the menus its quite annoying.

i'm using the gstreamer developers ppa (so pitivi 0.14) but i haven't any other
gstreamer related bug, anyway i think that is a gstreamer bug.
