I removed the wifi security from my network to make things easier, but I
still can't to it using the USB dongle. I used "gnome-control-center
network" and CLI commands ("sudo iwconfig wlan1 essid MyNetwork" etc),
but with no result. A snippet from dmesg:

i have got the same problem, no fixes with GRUB arguments work.
I made a temporary fix for me, maybe you could try that. It involves
editing kernel-source code.
1) download kernel source, i took 3.0.0, and unpack

3) look for

problem anymore atleast in Oneiric Ocelot with Unity 4.6.0. Would it be

value of auto_detected according to the local settings.
For example, when the LANG=zh_CN, the following will be set:

Ah, arrow up/down works.
Firefox, Chrome, Eclipse... use arrow right/left.
To have a consistent behavior it would be nice if Nautilus could change
it to arrow right/left.

right, that's getting confusing though, what issue do you try to solve
or what are you asking for there? gedit should already do the right
thing when using a zh_CN locale and open files in gb encoding which is
rated before utf for that locale

explanation about long descriptions was wrong because a small sw-center
