during the upgrade of gallery2, and was left with a pretty botched
installation. I ended up installing gallery2 from a tarball, outside of the
normal packaging process.

I think that the suppression should happen when any indicator is
opened... So I'd give this role more to the desktop (unity) than to each
indicator.

vulnerability is that it saves plain text passwords. These critical bugs

This is the output of /proc/interrupts on the second machine that has
the same hardware profile, but is not suffering from this problem.

I can't remember exactly what i did to recover the functionality of PiTiVi.

There appears to have been a regression and I'm now seeing the same

I'm not sure, but I think xscreensaver uses /etc/shaddow on my machine.
setlocale (LC_CTYPE, "") should work, since the "Password" string is
localized by LC_MESSAGES (At least I think it is, I can't test) and the
date is localized by LC_TIME.
On my machine, the date is fine when using setlocale (
