issue with minimizing and restoring has been fixed but when I first
start Empathy - there is no appname and no menubar. I can click on the
desktop and back on the window and it appears. The unity-2d build I
currently have is 3.8.8

Thanks for the extra info, I don't have Natty installed so can't confirm

using Chromium in Oneiric (but then, I have a different graphics card,

I also wanted to check in Oneiric - but I cannot get it to run in my VirtualBox
- when booting it hangs with "udevd[58]: error: runtime directory '/run/udev'
not writable, for now falling back to '/dev/.ud

After an upgrade to natty, yeahconsole doesn't work properly, typing in
