Same problem here, the drive does not mount or spin up inserted discs.

I downloaded on a CD the 10.04 LTS version of Ubuntu (kernel 2.6.32-28).

I want to find the code/form code for the import assistant dialogue
screen.

I get the same warning msg when I try to safely remove my nexus S from
