VGA while suspended, leaving the internal display blank on resume.

Patched Linux kernel from Natty (2.6.38) is being used on several

I've un-installed gnome-mplayer completely, so this has at least the

This time from Unity. First off all I'd love to see the lower part of
both GIMP panels as well!!! There is no way to use all the functions

is messing with module loading at all (/etc/init.d/network does not load

I dont have access to that computer at the moment, but I just enable
-proposed on my laptop and updated. On my laptop it did install the
langpacks for firefox properly, but update-manager did say that those
were a "new installation". Firefox on my laptop is still localised
(version 5.0~b5+build1+)

specific test modes that cause the failure?

Sorry, bug surfaced upon checking/backing up/upgrading PC which I seldom use.
Never saw it again on that or on laptops I use.
Note, I still prefer EOG whether using Ubuntu-G, -X, or -L (all latest, beta,

In both cases, the crash did not happen. This can mean two things:
- The faulty underlying component has been upgraded since then.
- The faulty underlying component crashes because it is configured after
vlc-nox is configured during the Ubuntu upgrade.
But that does not help. We need the crash lo
