I would rather call it a bug fix, not a new feature, because exo-mount
is no more present in natty, and thus the user gets an error message. I
don't think that's desired for a default installation.

FWIW: Sean Fenton's advice about disabling sync_to_vblank in gconf-
editor seems to have done the trick: I just left my laptop on overnight
with Transmission running (which was a recipe to activate the bug) and
it came back no problem.
The key location is:

Qwit works again in Ubuntu 11.04. I'd suggest anyone using older
versions try to use the deb from 11.04 and not from elsewhere on the

Why is it that OpenOffice is not in the repositories ? I understand and
accept that LibreOffice is now the default Office suite. But there are
multiple audio applications available in the repositories, and if I
don't like the default one then I merely install the one to my liking.

I changed the bug to ayatana-design when I learned that it was a more
appropriate category but then also changed the unity affections to

I can confirm this on an EeePC 901 XP with stock Ubuntu 11.04.
This is what I found in dmesg:

This seems to be a random occurrence but sometimes opening a pdf through
the Calibre interface causes the session to logout. It doesn't happen
when opening other formats of ebooks. Normally Calibre just opens the
Document Viewer and you can read t
