There is a setting in Unity that can be modified using gconf-editor or this
command in a terminal:
gsettings set com.canonical.Unity.Panel systray-whitelist "['all']"

Okay, home again and ready to test the latest stuff on the Lenovo x100e.
This was with today's snapshot of sound-2.6, which includes commits
447ee6a7 and d507cd66, and with Andiry's disable-64-bit DMA patch [1] on
top of that.
With PulseAudio installed, it happens almost every time.

So I tested the ifenslave-2.6 (1.1.0-17ubuntu1) from oneiric, compiled
under natty and with natty. The installation (after removing the old
package version) works now and does not remove anything. From the code I
would think, the same for upgrades from higher versions. I am still not

Was the status change to "opinion" by accident? This bug is a usability
regression. And, it does in fact exist, affecting all users of overlay-
scrollbars.

PresuntoRJ, do you have any steps to reproduce the issue again? We need
to know what's going on, but from your comments I can't determine if
it's a missing dependency or what happened (it could also be some
packages temporarily missing on the mirrors too), since reinstalling it
started to work agai
So that means its not a problem with the drivers. With nouveau and
proprietary drivers there are no icons in the sidebar. This is a problem
of unity.
