Stumbled on this one today when a developer requested PHP::Interpreter
install to Perl to do testing if php functions can be called from Perl
and found out that to do this in Debian I have to create custom
php5-package. And for reasons that are beyond my understanding. In
programming languages (as
This bug is caused by a xorg commit in December which was reverted in
the 1.7 branch [1] but not in the 1.9-branch of xorg-xserver.
A bug [2] is filed on the xorg bug tracker but it has no responses,
except from the reporter that confirms that a revert of the commit fixes
the situation.

@marc -- Can you verify with the latest natty -proposed kernel? There
have been a few fixes in this area, and given that this is using
standard sandybridge UMA graphics, it should suspend properly.
Cheers,

@marc -- this O2 micro card is supported, but I am curious as to the
firewire messages I'm seeing in CurrentDmesg. I saw a bug on another
platform where the sd card would not be recognized as long as a firewire

Does your online bank work with sun-java6-plugin? Danske bank (a huge
bank in Nordic and Baltic countries, see
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Danske_Bank) uses Java in its login. None
of Danske bank's online sites work with Icedtea, sun-java6-plugin is
required.
I'd mark this bug against Icedtea.

I am not able to reproduce the problem. Can someone please provide the

and of:
$ gdb --args /usr/lib/vlc/vlc-cache-gen /usr/lib/vlc/plugins -f

Did anyone ever figure this out? It's still broken with the 2.6.39-rc7
kernel. But after I trigger the rescan, it detects both card insertion
and removal. (I've booted the kernel with the argument
pciehp.pciehp_force=1 because someone said it fixed the issue on an
