The issue is still present, even on my currently installed maverick. But
nevertheless I solved the problem for me by using uswsusp. This just
works fine, I only need to provide the "force" option on suspend to ram.

I have this problem to, just alt + tab with the application switcher
plugin makes gtk-window-decorator consume more and more memory.

I downloaded a natty daily build yesterday the 26th of april, then tried to
install it today the 27th.
Everything went fine until the installer tried to `grub-install`. It died with
the "/usr/sbin/grub-probe: error: cannot stat `aufs'."
So here is what I did :
1/ Format a 15GB partition with btr

Have exactly the same problem. I use Gimp on Kubuntu 11.04, kernel
2.6.38-8-generic

Just wanted to say, that this bug is highly annoying. Ubuntu is unable
to suspend/resume more that 3 times without killing all my input
devices. It wasn't an issue before 10.10. Did every one having this
issue dist-upgrade? or install from scratch? Might affect the issue.
