I have no Idea why this is happening, other than it started a couple of
days ago, after one of the updates.

Hrm, your new pulseverbose log shows some "pool full" errors, which are
unusual and tends to be caused by internal pulseaudio errors rather than
hardware problems. Is the mic working in other applications than skype,
e g does the input level move in gnome-volume-control?

However, disconnecting the monitor can lead to a crash (depends on
hardware, nvidia here doesn't handle multi-monitor the same way: no
xrandr possible) but it can be a different bug.
If you experience so, please open a bug with the crash file in
/var/crash/*comp
When I first installed Natty I got this error message on every boot up,
however the machine did not totally lock up. When I installed the
updates the next day, it booted normally without error messages and has
had no problems since. It looks like something in the updates fixed the

and replace "exit $?" with "/bin/true" and apt-get -f install" worked

the updates directory. dpkg deals correctly with no disk space. An
update file only appears after having been written to in a temporary
file and renamed. Thus you should never see the #padding in an update

Tested on freshly installed and updated Natty in VirtualBox 4.0.4.
Ubuntu doesn't boot, because of missing drivers.

I meant that when I entered some data (e.g. my email address), closed
the dialog and reopened it, all information was lost. I can't remember
if that was on livecd or installed system. On the installed system, it's
working now, I have to check first for live mode.

Can you notice anything different in the CUPS settings for those two
printers? Is the one that you created manually perhaps sing a different
PPD? I'm just trying to figure out why the one created at install time
wouldn't work and the one created manually does.

The problem is that debconf is not working, apparently because it's
running twice. Reassigning.

Yes i have this freeze after upgrading to Natty, on Maverick i hava no
freeze on this pc.
I cannot reproduce this freeze, the freeze is not reproducible with a
sequence.
BTW if i get freeze i will add to this bug notification

As of 21/4/2011, this problem still persists. However, one can just open
up a terminal and type in:
:~$ sudo apt-get install ardour
That worked for me.
