Though I'm not sure about the source (allegedly Nvidia), I have the same
problem described. I'm running Ubuntu 10.10 with Nvidia and Ubuntu hangs
when my USB devices like mouse, keyboard and speaker all suddenly stop
working, forcing me to hard reboot. The problem appears to be occurring

The problem continues into Natty 64-bit kernel 2.6.38-8-generic
Hardware specific kernel issues are never fixed as I can observe from several
cases, with video adapters being the only exception.
Having said that, the BIOS on Asus laptops is far from being perfect either.

I was tryed to produce the hci.log apport suggested, and discovered two things:
After resume, hcidump tells me that "device: disconnected", and appearently the
device itself works, or at least "hcitool scan" lists nearby devices. So the

It could go either way. The reason I suggested making it insensitive
rather than hidden was that someone may be following instructions on how
to set the time, the instructions may refer to unlocking, and I think it
would be easier to understand that it is "already unlocked" than that it
doesn't nee

So, I finally tried with the generic driver. but it did the same.
So, I started to think that's it's an audio problem and decided to try, using
my bluetooth headset instead of my computer speaker, and guess what, it just
works fine.
I was wrong at the beginning, that's not a display problem, but

unity maximizes those windows that take 75% of the screen area. if those
apps are closed as such they will open maximized on the next run, though
I don't have access to an external display to test this bug.

I am not able to reproduce the issue with latest version of Unity. here
is what I did.
1. opened evolution and pinned it to the launcher.
2. sent a dummy email from another email address to evolution
3. raised evolution, pressed f5 and minimized it quickly.
4. the email notification came and there
Installed Natty Beta 2 and updated yesterday.
Today after logging in I got the crash.

Same here on Ubuntu Natty Beta 2, with Liferea 1.6.4. It is slow e.g. when you
mark multiple feeds as read.
Sorry, but for me it is unuseable in this state, I can't wait several
seconds/minutes to mark feeds as read.
