Ok, got it, the behavior is consistent after reboot / gdm restart , zero
results using the launcher search box or pressing application group
shortcuts but pressing the Application icon on the dock bar seems to fix
things. After I press it, and only then, results start showing up on the
main launche
I have now changed the configuration of the OpenPrinting web server to
use application/x-deb as mime type for Debian packages, by modifying
/etc/mime.types and restarting Apache. Note that the OpenPrinting web
server runs Ubuntu 8.04.4 LTS. I have checked Natty and there

I can confirm this.
I'm not really sure how this fails, or why we didn't see it before. It would
seem to be a regression (by changelog inspection) 1.7.4p4-5ubuntu5 .
ec2-images have a custom /etc/sudoers. It takes the default sudoers (well, a
default from some point) and adds

I can only have one app maximized if I try to maximize another app it goes full
screen but window is white.
I have to minimize window and resize until I get window fully drawn.
This happens even if I use different workspaces.
