only after reading the referred bug #660649 bug I understood that i can bypass
the 2 min fsck just by removing symlink. I did it and it worked! fsck now
complains about missing fsck.btrfs but that's ok.
Joke, You could get rid of those 20 min, too. Just do:
sudo mv /sbin/fsck.btrfs /sbin/_fsck.b

Thanks for the hint but I already took care of that as soon as I
realized what caused the massive startup delay.
But I think as long as there is no working btrfsck the package should
not provide a symlink to btrfsck. If there's need for /sbin/fsck.btrfs
it should be symlink pointing to /bin/true i
With me, it works the first time I open preferences.
After opening and subsequently closing the preferences the first time I
have a sh zombie process (parent process gvfsd-http) which prevents the
preferences from opening correctly after that.

mic-switching is only activated if the only inputs are internal mic and

Henrik, this happens because you’re trying to run gnome-settings-daemon
when it hasn’t crashed, so it refuses to run a second instance. Please
do the above when it has actually crashed (i.e. when the theme is reset
to the ugly default), and let me know the output when it crashes again.

What do you mean "allow". Why should an app "allow" it. It's clearly
possible to have multiple gterm's. Just build it into the launcher, I
would say.
