I've figured out that it happens for me either after resuming from
suspension or after I've plugged into my adapter (both while plugged in
and after I then remove it from the adapter it shows 2).

I think I got it!
It seems to be correlated to the use of the nic too soon from login.
E.g., I start the computer, login appears, enter user/pass, as soon as the
desktop appears I start Thunderbird: Ubuntu network stops working.

Happened to me just now.
Was seeing a streaming video on uefa.com. When I made it fullscreen, after 10
second into the video, the image stopped and the audio kept going. Couldn't use
"esc" to exit full-screen so I did alt-tab. After that there was teens of
gwibbler icons on the launcher bar and
I agree with Roger Binns. This bug is not invalid.
Like him I have my desktop spread across multiple monitors, and on that
setup, a global menu would be a user interface disaster. It is a long
way to move the mouse pointer from the window I am working in to the top

@Dennis, the indicator-datetime-preferences is obviously having some
trouble communicating over dbus, mostly this is out of our hands as we
simply use libunique to do the communication and determine if the
application is already running.
If you're having trouble launching it, please try killing it

nova testsuite fails i
I have the same problem on a Dell Precision M65 with nVidia Corporation G72GL
[Quadro FX 350M] (rev a1) graphics card.
I've had this problem since Beta 1 and still after the upgrade to Beta 2 with
nvidia-current-270.41.03.
How can I help triage this problem?
