gtk_window_set_has_resize_grip() does not exist in upstream gtk+ 2.0; it
was added by an Ubuntu patch (debian/patches/044_grips.patch). In order
to maintain compatibility with upstream applications, the default needs
to be changed to FALSE.

errors and the desired effect.

I had the same problem with the firmware not supporting detected chipset
for D-Link DWA-140 B2 in Natty and I've managed to resolve it by
blacklisting rt2800usb module in /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf.

I started to bisect the changes, but I failed to reproduce the tearing
with the 2.14.0 git commit. Then I tried xserver-xorg-video-intel
2:2.14.0-4ubuntu7, which surprisingly does not tear too. Even xserver-
xorg-video-intel 2:2.14.0-4ubuntu6 does not tear any more.
I don't get these messages in t
closing the bug as Neil said stacktrace is not useful and there have
been no one else affected in 2months.
