Today, March 31, I updated my Natty installation. After reboot, the
network applet didn't show wifi anymore. Same happens after many
reboots. I can connect via a wired connection only.
The first time I rebooted I saw a message on screen while Ubuntu was

Desktop empty, no foreground apps running. There is corruption of the
top and bottom panels, white lines 20% of panel hight and broken text -
refreshing the panels doesn't clear it, jsut changes the position.
