When you install Wubi - before you reboot it sets up a file
C:\ubuntu\install\custom-installation\preseed.cfg which contains

In my case changing the 'Profile', under the 'Hardware' tab of gnome-
volume-control, to 'Analog Stereo Duplex', then hitting 'Test speakers'
crashes gnome-volume-control every time.

However, it is not the first time that I experiment this kind of problem after
UPGRADING (I had upgraded from 10.04 to 10.10).

on a clean page with no windows. It cannot be used to swith between
windows. I can switch using Meta4 and number keys, but not by clicking
on icons.

If the /etc/X11/xorg.conf is removed, then it does correctly load the
default (nouveau) driver, but if the xorg.conf wants to load the nvidia
driver and that fails, then it doesn't fallback to nouveau like it

I experience the same speed problem, either with xsane or simple-scan, with the
same scanner HP Scanjet 3670.
I think it is related to sane-backends, not simple-scan
I did a few tests :
In a Windows XP virtual machine (Virtualbox 4.0.4 with USB2 support), on my
computer :

Hey Jean, can you go to full screen in the natty guest? After last
nights update I cant seem to use the guest additions in natty at all.
That includes the 3D that is used to run unity.

I'm using one of the built-in menu templates in dvd styler. I haven't
used any of my own images for the buttons. There is only one image
button that I'm currently using but it is a svg arrow image included in
the dvd styler software. I've rotated it 180 degrees and changed the
color for highligh

I did an apt-get source grub-common to try to debug the issue, but the
executable I built from source seems to work:
