OK I now see what is happening. I commented out the "AuthInfoRequired"
line but I still get the problem. The issue is that the follow me line
still has the old password and it will not update it automatically after
prompted even when I click the "Remember Password" option.

Not sure if I can confirm this is 'exactly' the same bug. But I'm on
Lucid and I do have problems with flash when it comes to having Youtube
running. Sometimes it's two youtube videos, sometimes it's Youtube with
a facebook flash game. But one thing for sure, it's certainly flash
running in firefox
Oh, and I should add there doesn't seem to be any option for me except
for killing firefox-bin because firefox freezes up completely and I
can't get at any sort of disabling and re-enabling of flash.

Maybe I have another bug, but the kernels mentioned in #4 and #5 do not behave
any better.
Whole machine hangs during the first minute after logon to KDE. With those two
kernels it's so hanged I can't switch terminal and so can't see the error
message.

I've hit the same bug. I could resolve it with :
# sudo update-initramfs -u
The dropbear installation process updates the initramfs. It works great
until you uninstall it as it doesn't re-update the initramfs.
The parent process of the hanging ipconfig was /scripts/init-premount/dropbear.

Even though I could not get any of the tune2fs commands to work, I tried the
other debugging command:

Maybe you should consider using version 1.7.0-2. This version now uses
libudev instead of libhal. So the only remaining difference is the more
of the libpcsclite.so.1 library from /usr/lib to /lib
Also note that wpasupplicant in Debian experimental now loads
