Ran into this trying to tether my HTC G1 running Cyanogenmod 6.1.0.
The MAC address presented (ex: 42:b4:ea:XX:XX:XX) isn't locally unique (
0x42 && 0x02 != 0). This is cryptically rejected by usbnet.c as being
due to "bad CDC descriptors".
I fixed this by removing the check

I highly doubt this is an Exaile problem, so I'm closing the exaile

It was probably my own fault - having deleted the tomcat folder
accidentially and only reinstallung the tomcat6-common packge. Sorry for

works reliably is to reboot.

The problem with "disk" not finding Baobab was because we excluded
Baobab back in the days where Unity was netbook-only. That issue has
been fixed in another bug. You should see this when you get unity-place-
applications-0.2.36 or higher.

hint how to enter the rescue menu.
How about a splash screen that says 'To enter Grub menu, restart
computer and hold SHIFT key pressed'?
