eject functionality works as expected.
At the moment I cannot test with a removable USB storage device, my VM setup
doesn’t allow that.

For what it's worth, The GIMP seems to suffer from a similar (if not
exactly the same) issue. However, it does not crash:

UPDATE: Kernel 2.6.32-25-generic does indeed not have the -1 channel
problem. I am able to use aireplay and inject packets correctly.
I would still like to find a solution for the current kernel version
though so if someone knows how to fix the b43 channel -1 problem please

Just to clarify for whomever fixes this. Focus isn't lost from the
launcher, just the selection moves beyond the launchers. Hitting up or
down (depending what end of the launcher you're on) shows the cursor

On natty it appears that the dpkg list for packages is not stored in
/var/lib/dpkg/info/$package.list. It's actually in
/var/lib/dpkg/info/amd64/$package.list. I'm guessing this is because of
multiarch, but can't be sure.

program. In other words i selected NTSC. I wouldn't use PAL cause i live
in canada and all dvds are NTSC here. I have done this before and gotten
working dvd's with a dvd player that only plays dvd's not vcds or any

My session crashed, I was brought back to GDM, logged in, and was

Hmmm, according to http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-
bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=448761#14 this is no real core dump (as in
"segfault"). mplayer tries to be funny when it saved the received (or to
be encoded) file or stream as stream.dump.
In addition to that, the extraction of the audio stream from some vide
@Benjamin Schmid: I think the fix is done in the Linux tree (practically all
versions later than 2.6.35 behave a lot better), it just has not been ported
back to the ubuntu 2.6.35 tree...
And it is much annoying...
