No, the windows fakeraid drivers load and bind only to the specific
fakeraid hardware they were designed for. I suppose if you can
configure the virtual machine to use the correct PCI ID of the fakeraid
instead of the usual generic ACHI ID then it should work.

parameters thinking that may provide some clues, but doing so resulted

works fine. I compared my settings and noticed that on the machine
having a problem in pithos the proxy url was set to a pandora url. On
the machine that was working there was no proxy url so i removed this
and it fixed my issu
