I have exactly the same problem on Lucid 10.4.2. I tried setting up an
encrypted ~/Private directory using ecrypts-setup-private as I don't
want the whole homedir to be encrypted. I can mount the directory, the
first time I do ls ~/Private I can see the content but after that ls
shows an empty dir
I suspect there is an issue with ACPI _BST (Battery Status) not
functioning correctly for some reason. Can you attach the output from:
sudo acpidump

Still an issue for me, on 600px high screen with added launcher app
items and multiple disk partitions. Bottom launcher item (trash) is not
