I just had this issue as well. I'm a Sysadmin/dev by trade and this bug
puzzled even me. Lucky for Google where I found other users complaining
of this and they just waited it out. Please fix. Joe Blow shouldn't have
to get stuck on something like this if Ubuntu is supposed to be as
simple as adver

@Mark, this is not really possible because with the french keyboard layout, we
need shift to get the keynum.
So, basically, "Super 1" is Super + Shift + &.

I built an image based on latest Natty daily and incorporating Bryce's
fixed ubiquity. It looks promising, already the panel is no longer
misbehaving and it doesn't consume CPU like it used to. I was able to
