Tried Ubuntu 10.10 with 2.6.36-020636-generic and MythTV frontend quits,
session logs out and presented with Ubuntu log-in screen same as with
2.6.35. Anyone know if anyone is looking at this otherwise I'll just
rebuild my machines to 10.04.

New informations: Have changed the videocard to amd, with fglrx and free
ati linuxdriver i got the same situation. No menu's at phatch,
guayadeque, audacious. I have to change the gnome dektop theme to get
the menus from running programs back.
Hint: Ubuntu netbook 10.10 is not affected by this pro
I haven't tested a mainline kernel with this yet.

Happened upon this thread looking for information on the same bug. I've
followed everything that's been said to the best of my ability (being
rather new to unix) with the exception of this -proposed repository
which I can't seem to find. So far it has fixed google talk but only
within the gmail w
i think this bug does still affect me on natty, but i cannot test it
right now since there are no compatible nvidia drivers since the
x-server ABI bump.
for the time being i avoided the issue using nvidia-173 installed via
apt-get – but i would appreciate it if jockey was able to install
nvidia-cu

I'm not sure if this should be part of this bug or not but the new libc
won't accept prelink. When the prelink runs, suddenly everything
segfaults. I ran it manually to test and now I'll have to dpkg -x libc6
again.
