I can confirm that I see the same symptom. However it does work
immediately after starting firefox. At some point it stops working, and
I need to restart firefox before it works again. I think what triggers
the bug is attempting to drag the "Latest Headlines" folder into another
folder.

booted into ubuntu livecd, then installed by running the "Install Ubuntu
10.10" icon on desktop, and noticed there was a crash report to submit
during the install.

note in the dpkg log that it includes flash player I installed while running
livecd (note the timestamps on log)
installed flash player last night and left pc running on livecd and installed

Seems we need to test this on a netbook, i do not see these kinds of

Programming error during installation of downloaded
At some point ubuntu added "clocksource=jiffies" to my grub. This leads
to CPUs in 100% polling state (found by powertop), which will let the
ondemand governor use max cpu speed all the time.
Removing the clocksource entry resolved the issue.

I marked invalid, "nonfactor", due to the amount 'lost' seemed relatively

In my case, it hangs at the end saying "about one second left," but if I
go have a cup of joe and build a cake or something it eventually
completes. For now, I either take a weekend road trip while it renders
the video or use cinelerra.
