an openvz container on a busy server. Ext3 is the underlying file system
and the server itself is quite busy.
Dpkg hangs for at least a good hour on:
/usr/bin/dpkg --status-fd 14 --unpack --auto-deconfigure
/var/cache/apt/arch
ya, pommed uses too much cpu (Maverick, MBP (2,2))

Some additional information: if you comment out the ~Base destructor,
the ICE goes away.
The ICE also goes away if you significantly reduce the number of Child
members in the Container class.

@Roman, there was a question from upstream whether using "medium_power"
instead of "min_power" does not lead to problems. Could you give that a
try? Thanks.

It also looks like there needs to be an apport package hook for update-
manager that gathers the log files and determines if this is the result
of a dist-upgrade or a regular one.

Off the top of my head, the 'system-file-manager' icon is used in the file
progress window and in its systray icon too. Using the home icon here is not
right. (I'd need to check whereelse it is used)

because thats the kernel I compiled it on. the driver claims to be somewhat
"dynamic" and i'm sure theres a way to make it work on all kernels, but right
now this is only a fix until support is officiall
It wasn't a problem with the sources.list but thanks anyway for the
recommendation -- please note the bug was set as "invalid" because it was a
one-time bug, probably because of ext3->ext4. The bug was not active for one
year. :)
I restored the original description for historic reasons.
