AMD OpenGL driver doesn’t support GL_EXT_stencil_two_side, but compiz
attempts to call to glActiveStencilFaceEXT which cuases segmentation

tries either with gnome-session or hal (Bug #437333), none of which is
available on xubuntu.
The attached patch replaces the hal call by a call to xfce4-session. C

Yes it's used on Lubuntu. Is it possible to replace the Hal call by the
consolkit one ? I think it's supported by both Xubuntu and Lubuntu.

Okay, I see your issue now.
It seems that it just anchors to whichever paragraph the top of the image is
in. Why do you feel it should do differently? How about anchor to page?

I've been performing testing of new versions of the Boot Info Script for
it's developers and received the following input:
"mawk (default in Debian/Ubuntu) doesn't work for some of the new code:
