I also have this on a second tier laptop. And it only started about 2
weeks ago. If I go to and
switch from to and then back again,
make as default, it works sometimes. But otherwise, this is really
disappointing. Power modes has always been a problem with Ubuntu. It WAS
fixed in 10.04, not some u
Closing this bug because it has become invalid. nssbackup has been
abandonded since the re-merge with the original project sbackup. sbackup
release 0.11.0 from the 0.11 series, released 2010-08-19, is identical
to the latest nssbackup release. So, packaging nssbackup is no longer
required.

This is also valid under Natty.
During the installation process of Natty, keyboard disposition selection
comes after the partitioning step, possibly leaving the user with an
unusable international keyboard.
This is even more of a problem for a regular user with no to little system's
knowledge.

I get this, too. I've found that if the left-mouse button stops working
(on my external mouse), then if I click on the touchpad left-mouse
button, all reverts to normal. It seems to be stuck in some sort of
selection mode (sometimes text highlights as I move the mouse).

I've come across another solution that this would be useful. In the
testing of filesystems with compression enabled (zfs, btrfs). Trying to
figure out raw write speeds using /dev/zero is meaningless because the
data is highly compressed. Using /dev/urandom is too slow (~ 6MB/s).

Can someone please look at this? It's already got 5 dupes and we seem to
be getting more people having the problem in #ubuntuone on IRC.
