keyboard the same way that gksu does, so I think that the polkit dialog
should work fine. Can you confirm?

dirs recursively. In order to get the smallest hit on startup I fetch
everything lazily. But as said; it's not that it's super tricky to
optimize or anything, it just requires a little more than 3 lines of
code to do properly.

if we shift to use utf8, what about other distro still use UTF-8? are

Sergey, you're conflating two things here. You're talking about the
installer initrd, which does not need to include aic94xx-seq.fw because
it's in the scsi-firmware udeb which is loaded at run-time. However,
the folks reporting this bug are talking about the initramfs that's used
on the installe

By "fix" I mean:
1) It has both an OK and a Cancel button which both just dismiss the

firmware udeb; looks like it's not workin

Didier, I don't recall being able to click on nautilus in the launcher
and have it launch. But I'm not 100% sure I tested it. (To be clear,
all windows already open are still interactive. It's just unity that
stops working in this bug.)

when the locale ends up as .utf8 for one reason or another, applications

1.) for 11.04 we've moved to a new (certainly much faster) implementation, no
more clutter and mutter, but compiz
