The BIOS does not have option like "USB legacy support".

Well we could sync, because there are no remaining changes after
removing MP4 support. But it would not be documented in the changelog
why we removed the MP4 support after having it for I think 2 cycles, so

I echo Yope's request. I switched from Fedora Core to Ubuntu 10.04
Lucid LTS hoping to have a more stable system, and encountered the
broken hotkeys and slow scrolling in xpdf, both of which are fixed in

gtk-update-icon-cache -tqf /usr/share/glade3/pixmaps/hicolor/
(as root, please note additional parameter -t) fixes that problem in
ubuntu 10.10.

I should be able to try it again this week.
However, I just tried running gparted with an Imation 4 GB stick straight from
the packaging.
lsusb shows:
Bus 001 Device 008: ID 0718:044e Imation Corp.
I was going to put dban on it, and I get a crash similar to the one in
the bug description:
