1) after initial GPU hang, I logged in via ssh, edited /etc/apt/sources.list
2) added the gpg key
3) sudo apt-get update

Happened to me when I was compiling the pdf with pdflatex in Texmaker.
The pdf was already open in Evince..and usually the view refreshes
automatically when the file has changed.
Only this time it crashed.

After changing the input method key to Ctrl-Del, Ctrl-space cannot allow

Is this still occurring in Ubuntu 10.10 "Maverick Meerkat"? If so,
there are a number of HDMI fixes (EDID detection, EDID parsing,
underscan calculation and others) upstream in the recently released
2.6.37 kernel. A PPA of this kernel is available at

@Bryce Harrington - As of 12:50pm here on 01/09/10 I'm still using Unity
on the Default Desktop for Ubuntu 11.04 Alpha, and I'm using Compiz
Fusion on the Classic Desktop. As of this writing, I'm still seeing the

When i press some keys on the keyboard, sometime the keyboard works
again. When the keyboard does not work, there is no device in /dev/input
(eg event 12 is sometimes there, sometimes not. that's the keyboard).

Hi Alessio, sorry for the delay.
I think it might indeed be interesting to move most of the current code of
pastebinit to a python module, then have pastebinit be the CLI frontend for
that. Then we can have nautilus-pastebin and others to use that same module and
avoid code duplication.

Good news! My image is no longer upside down in Meerkat, on an Asus
K60IJ laptop. :=)) Saves me the agony and risk of disassembling my
