I think this should be marked as a bug, since new user coming to Ubuntu would
like to use their IMAP mail with evolution. Many mail servers (including Gmail)
have their own folders for Trash and Junk, and when a user realizes that after

I share the same problem, though on an Edge 11" AMD Neo II (K325) with
Ubuntu 10.10 on 2.6.35-24 i386.
Running powertop indicates, that the kernel schedule may be one cause
for this as it leads to many wakeup events per second.

I think the bug is specifically targeted towards Maverick, because we
would have anyway changed it for Natty.
Though the status says 'Fix Committed' (I believe) it can be said to be

I am running 10.04.1 on an Asus EB1012. I was able to work around this
with the iguanair deb file that is currently on iguanaworks .net,
iguanaIR-1.0.1-1.i386.deb, but the lirc package they had there,
lirc_0.8.7~pre3-0ubuntu1_i386.deb, gave a broken install. I rm'ed it

hide the tab bar when there is only a single tab open meaning closing

just uploaded a fix. 03-link-against-lm wasn't entirely correct, and the
changes done there weren't reflected in the generated autotools files.
I've added two tiny other fixes to the Makefile.am's so that autoreconf
-i works again now.

Usually, I see at the numbers of the pages in the preview pane. Please check
the attached screenshot.
The PDF file has its own page numbers sequence, started with C1, then two empty

everything, first reboot and hit this.

Same problem for me. It seems when firefox is running and I opening new
tabs or I making some window-operating (minimize, maximize) the firefox
and xorg eat my cpu for a sec. Cpu usage goes up to 90-95% and

notebook, and have updated it daily through this morning.

I am also getting an error whenever i use apt-get to install a package
or update, as well as an error with mpg123 when streaming shoutcast
stations, which i lump together simple because a, both of these errors
showed up at the same time, and b, both seem to be an error with the

Wubi - windows ubuntu installer - can be run from a CD under windows, or using
wubi.exe and the .iso in the same folder under windows, or just wubi.exe alone.
They all result in the same "wubi-thing" that can be uninstalled.
Beware: there are some serious issues with grub at the momen
I wonder. Possibly no effort was made to anti-alias the borders around
the windows? I can't say, because I don't have such in-depth knowledge.
