For those, who cannot wait for this bug being solved, below comes the
monitor section for xorg.conf which worked perfectly on my configuration
(Laptop +external monitor connected via VGA cable):

Unfortunately, I do not understand the problem and cannot work on a
proper solution. You gave me a bug which I thought was the problem you
were having. I prepared an updated with that fix, but you say that is
not sufficient. I will monitor this bug, but I think I have to leave

I have a backup script which is doing incremental backups on NFS share.
I am using an -g (--listed-incremental) option for that purpose. If the
snapshot file does not exists (which means tar is doing full backups)
everything works flawl

indicator in the bottom menu panel went away. I have sound if I go to my
MP player but no sound on any web page play back. Di the "ubuntu-bug

Same happens with http://wireless.kernel.org/en/users/Drivers/iwl3945
(iwl3945). The wifi / wlan network connection dies at some point, and
only a
sudo rmmod iwl3945
sudo modprobe iwl3945
or a reboot can restore it.

No bug tracker is the right place to ask support questions. Until the
Xfce4.7 merges are completed, you should expect issues running Xfce in
Ubuntu or Xubuntu. Filing the bug on xfce bugzilla simply increases the
workload for those who are attempting to resolve issues. This is not a
