Hi,
I don't know if it is a fresh installation (Marverick) or an upgrade (Lucid
=>Marverick) but if it is an upgrade i have certainly the solution.
When we have created the manual we have used the Gnome denomination (i.e.
2.0.1-4) and when Openshot has been accepted by Debian and Ubuntu, we have

after a discussion on IRC we decided that we will not apply the static
non-NEON build to natty for now to give upstream the opportunity for a
proper fix of the runtime detection.
If this fix is not available by natty beta either option a) or option b)
from comment #50 above will be implemented.

Ok, for Natty no PPA will be provided for now as it'll just FTBFS
anyway. The idea for Natty is to get the proper fix from upstream and be
able to do runtime detection.

here. I really, really like Unity. I think it's a great development, but

Using my Maverick install, now everything goes fine on gdb and ddd, with the
exception that ddd starts throwing warnings after it reaching 'ret' via Step.
This probably has to do with Paolo's second point (sources).
