I also had this problem. The solution was to stop grub from using UUIDs.
For me using Grub 2 this meant editing /etc/default/grub and setting
"GRUB_DISABLE_LINUX_UUID=true". Unfortunately this does not fix the core
problem, but it does at least allow you to boot.

Yeah that's a joke ... I think everybody knew it ! But what I said is
really what I think. There can be less intrusive solution to
progressively remove OSS. And not use brutal force against us users that
just want our system just working !

see the system remain stable for a longer duration than first boot. I

pilot-conduits v2.32.0 package unless you have previously installed
gnome-pilot v2.32.0 using the instructions in comment #27.

I have the same issue as rattboi, but Ali Mohammad's fixes do *not*
apply. The only way I can boot is with apci=off.
