No I didnt try maverick, nor is there any point, simply because the xbmc
is barely now supporting lucid, I dont think dismissing lucid
altogether, without fixing it there is a solution, not that t matters,

I'm using thunderbird with my IMAP account in my office. Everytime I try
to reply to any message, the new open form is totally empty: no
subjects, addresses, body message etc. It's like composing a new
message...

Well, I'll give this bug a chance and send it upstream but I can already
guess the response from Ubuntu will be the same as ours. They won't
consider it a bug...
In my opinion you can do the following:
- Stick to Mint 9 (which is supported for another 3 years)
- Switch to LMDE and enjoy the Mint

For me the hack is still necessary: Xubuntu 10.10.
Copying the before mentioned pm-utils hook to /etc/pm/sleep.d/10_athcool does
the job.
