I tried latest mainstream kernel and the situation is the same. One
point is, that before one month, the sound worked correctly even

I have no idea if this is related, but after upgrading to Maverick, my
4965AGN wireless adapter will not reconnect after resuming from sleep
mode.

There seems to be some bad interaction between Windows and Linux (my lan chip
is sometimes asleep under linux, then also under windows. Cold boot makes

This also affects me, on an Asus eee-pc 900. After suspend, I get a
black screen, and the computer is completely unresponsive. It requires

I acconseil you to enable all graphics effects, so you can use some compiz
feature.

I have successfully installed Maverick
Was happening to me too.
For me it's not %10-20 of the time, it's more like after about an hour
of normal use then for a period of 5 minutes then it goes away until it
comes back in another hour. I was thinking it might have been the
differences in processor power, but I'm on a i7 920.

It seems to me that 300 seconds freeze before entering hibernation and upon
wakeup from hibernation/suspend is due to ACPI error. Here is a piece of dmesg
log upon waking up from hibernation:

The attached patch seems to fix the problem. I've tested it lightly with
a few different cases (with and without redirects) and didn't find any
regressions.
